Lockheed Martin has obtained a significant contract with the U.S. Government for the integration of the PAC-3 MSE missile, the most advanced air defense missile, into the Aegis Combat System. This integration will allow the U.S. Navy to benefit from high-precision air defense, joining 16 other nations that are already using this technology, including Romania and Poland. The contract, valued at several million dollars, includes the acceleration of PAC-3 MSE interceptor production, with deliveries estimated for 2026. The PAC-3 MSE missile uses 'hit-to-kill' technology, destroying targets through direct impact, and has been tested in real combat conditions. The integration of this missile into the Aegis system will enhance defense capabilities against missile threats, providing a strategic advantage to American military personnel. The Aegis system, with over 50 years of experience, is recognized for its adaptability to new challenges in the defense field. The PAC-3 MSE will provide an additional layer of protection for warships.
