Lithuanian President Gitanas Nausėda says Lithuania will contribute troops and equipment to any peacekeeping mission in Ukraine, following international talks on security guarantees. The initiative comes amid intensified diplomatic efforts to resolve the conflict between Russia and Ukraine. The US, through the voice of President Trump, has pledged support for Ukraine's security, but has ruled out sending American troops. The 'Coalition of the Willing' alliance, made up of 33 countries including Romania, is committed to supporting Ukraine outside the NATO or EU frameworks.
