The Russian Foreign Minister, Sergey Lavrov, discussed today the militarization of the European Union and the possible development of a nuclear program by Germany.
He stated that Russia is prepared for any developments but has no intention of attacking anyone. Lavrov emphasized Russia's concerns regarding reports suggesting that Germany could develop a nuclear bomb within a year, mentioning the involvement of universities and German companies in sensitive research.
The Russian Foreign Intelligence Service estimated that Berlin could produce the necessary nuclear material within a timeframe of one to three months. Lavrov also addressed the topic of the Black Sea Grain Initiative, criticizing the UN for its unilateral implementation.
He also announced a meeting with American Senator Marco Rubio, where he will discuss possible solutions for the conflict in Ukraine and the involvement of the United States in arms deliveries to Ukraine.
