At the summit in Antalya, Turkey, Russia's Foreign Minister, Sergey Lavrov, stated that the time has come for a discussion with the United States regarding future economic relations between Moscow and Washington. Lavrov emphasized that, although there are differences of opinion between the two countries, it is essential to explore possibilities for economic cooperation. He also mentioned that NATO is not in the best shape, but assured that Russia will not interfere in the internal affairs of the alliance. The renewal of economic cooperation with the U.S. was included in Russia's proposals for a diplomatic thaw with the administration of President Donald Trump, according to information provided by Reuters. This approach suggests a desire for dialogue and collaboration, despite existing tensions.
