Prince Charles, then Prince of Wales, was reportedly informed via an email in 2019 about the abusive use of the Royal Family's name by Prince Andrew, in the context of his relationships with banker David Rowland. The email claimed that Andrew had secret financial dealings with Rowland, who was taking advantage of royal connections.
Andrew was accused of allowing Rowland's involvement in his official dealings and of passing sensitive information to Jeffrey Epstein. Additionally, Andrew received financial support from Rowland, including a loan of 1.5 million pounds. The whistleblower emphasized that Andrew prioritized his relationship with Rowland to the detriment of his family.
Following these revelations, lawmakers called for a police investigation, while Andrew denies any wrongdoing. Buckingham Palace declined to comment due to the ongoing investigation.
