For the first time, Kiev has confirmed the incursion of Russian troops into Dnipropetrovsk, where fighting is ongoing. Russia has captured the villages of Zaporizke and Novoheorhiivka, intensifying the offensive amid the stagnation of diplomatic efforts. Although the Ukrainian army previously dismissed reports of the occupation of these villages, spokesperson Viktor Tregubov stated that the Russians are trying to create a breach in the Ukrainian defense. President Zelensky downplayed the significance of the Russian advance, considering it a media victory.
