Mojtaba Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of Iran, sent a message emphasizing that the enemies of the country, after being defeated on the battlefield, are now trying to sow internal divisions and pessimism among the population. Khamenei called for national unity, stating that any action that generates frustration would aid the enemy.
He highlighted the humiliation suffered by the enemies and warned that they are conducting a hybrid war, targeting the resistance of the people and misleading officials. Khamenei urged officials to support unity and to avoid speeches that could fuel doubt and despair.
His message was delivered on the occasion of the commemoration of the death of the founder of the Islamic Republic, Ruhollah Khomeini. In the context of international negotiations, U.S. President Donald Trump mentioned that Iran has agreed not to possess nuclear weapons, suggesting an openness in relations between the two countries.
