The supreme leader of Iran, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, reacted to the statements of American President Donald Trump, who claims that the bombings in June destroyed Iran's nuclear sites completely. Khamenei stated that Trump "is dreaming" and emphasized that there is no evidence of the destruction of the nuclear program.
On June 22, the United States, together with Israel, bombed the nuclear facilities at Fordo, Isfahan, and Natanz, but the extent of the damage remains unknown. Trump stated that he dropped 14 bombs on the main nuclear facilities and that they were destroyed, which led to a reduction in Iran's aggression in the Middle East. Khamenei challenged the United States' right to decide on Iran's nuclear program, rhetorically asking why America should care about Iran's nuclear industry.
