Under the leadership of the new CEO Luca de Meo, the international group Kering recorded a return to growth in the second quarter of 2026, with revenues of 3.652 billion euros, an increase of 1% compared to the previous year. This is the first positive signal after several difficult quarters. The company is focusing on implementing its transformation strategy rather than comparing itself to competitors.
Although the Fashion & Leather Goods division saw a 1% decline in sales, the Gucci brand showed an improvement in performance. Other brands, such as Saint Laurent and Bottega Veneta, had positive results. The jewelry segment grew by 14%, and Kering Eyewear reported a 5% increase.
The recurring net profit was 355 million euros, and net financial debt decreased significantly to 3.3 billion euros. Kering continues to implement its strategic plan 'ReconKering', closing 84 directly operated stores by the end of the first half of the year.
