USA: Judge bans Trump's deployment of National Guard in Los Angeles, deems mobilization illegal

Judge Charles Breyer has enjoined Trump's deployment of the National Guard in Los Angeles, saying the mobilization was illegal and that the protests did not constitute a rebellion. The decision comes following a lawsuit filed by California Governor Gavin Newsom, who sought control of the Guard. Breyer emphasized that the presence of troops in the city escalates tensions and impedes the state's ability to use the Guard for other purposes.
