Data released by Italy's statistics institute show that inflation was just 0.8% in September, as a result of falling energy, transportation and communication costs. This downward trend in inflation is seen in all 20 eurozone countries, and analysts expect other countries such as France and Spain to see price rises below the ECB's 2% target.
