An investigation has revealed that the Israeli military has implemented a system to store Palestinian phone calls on Microsoft Azure servers, facilitating surveillance and preparation for airstrikes. The project, initiated by Unit 8200, stores millions of calls daily and has influenced military operations in Gaza and the West Bank. Microsoft said it was not aware of the nature of the data stored, but sources in the unit say the information was used to identify targets for bombing, contributing to a serious humanitarian crisis.
