Negotiations for a ceasefire in Gaza are blocked by Israel's proposed withdrawal plan, seen by Hamas as a military repositioning maneuver.

Palestinian sources say that the indirect negotiations in Doha between Israel and Hamas are hindered by the withdrawal map presented by Israel, which does not reflect a real withdrawal but rather a repositioning of forces. Hamas rejects this plan, which would keep Israeli forces on 40% of Gaza and could lead to forced displacement. Although negotiations are deadlocked, progress has been made in talks on humanitarian aid and hostage exchanges.
