An Israeli citizen has been arrested on charges of being recruited by Iranian spies to plot assassinations, targeting Benjamin Netanyahu.

He, a businessman who has lived in Turkey for a long period, was recruited by Iranian intelligence services to promote the assassination of Israeli public figures. He had been smuggled into Iran twice and was proposed to assassinate Israeli officials, including Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
