On Friday, at least 44 Palestinians were killed in the Gaza Strip by Israeli attacks, many of them waiting for food aid. UNICEF reported an acute shortage of drinking water, with only 40% of facilities functioning, and malnutrition among children has risen by 50%. Israel said the attacks targeted militants but resulted in civilian casualties. The humanitarian crisis is worsening, with more than 55,700 Palestinians killed and millions displaced by the conflict.
