An Israeli attack led to the killing of two engineers who were assessing the damage caused by conflicts in southern Lebanon, according to the Lebanese national press agency. The Israeli army claims that the attacks target Hezbollah, despite a ceasefire in effect. Since the beginning of this ceasefire, 103 civilians have been killed, and recent attacks have targeted infrastructure and equipment to prevent reconstruction in the border areas. The World Bank estimates the reconstruction costs at 11 billion dollars, and the UN reports over 80,000 displaced persons in Lebanon due to the violence.
