The Israeli army (IDF) has announced that it has advanced further into southern Lebanon, as part of an expanded buffer zone, following Hezbollah's attacks on Israel. The 91st Regional Division 'Galilee' has conducted a raid in the eastern sector, where it encountered and eliminated several Hezbollah members. The IDF stated that this operation aims to extend the 'advanced defense zone', destroying terrorist infrastructure and eliminating threats to residents in northern Israel.
Before the deployment of troops, the IDF carried out airstrikes and artillery bombardments to neutralize threats. Additionally, the 146th Reserve Division remains active in the western sector, and the IDF is preparing to deploy more forces to ensure border security.
