Israel carried out a precision strike against the Islamic Jihad in the center of the Gaza Strip on Saturday evening, despite a ceasefire negotiated with the help of the United States. For two weeks, there has been a fragile peace between Hamas and Israel, but the Israeli army reserves the right to defend itself.
The attack took place in the Nousseirat region, targeting a member of the Islamic Jihad who was planning an imminent attack on Israeli troops. This resulted in the injury of four people, according to Al-Awda hospital, which reported that the victims were inside a civilian vehicle. The Israeli army stated that it will continue operations in Gaza to eliminate any threat to its forces.
