The Israeli army will launch a large-scale offensive in Gaza, warning that it will use unprecedented force and asking civilians to evacuate the area.

Colonel Avichay Adraee stated that the offensive will target Hamas and armed groups, in response to the attacks on October 7, 2023, which resulted in over 1,200 deaths in Israel, mostly civilians. Following the attacks, nearly 65,000 Palestinians have been killed, including 19,000 children, and Israel is accused of genocide by international organizations.
