A source from the oil industry stated to Reuters that a crucial oil pipeline in Saudi Arabia, which runs across the country in an east-west direction, has been damaged following an Iranian attack. This pipeline transports approximately seven million barrels of oil daily to the port of Yanbu on the Red Sea, and the oil flow could be affected, although damage assessment is ongoing.

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) of Iran announced that it struck several targets in the region, including American oil facilities in Yanbu, following an airstrike on the Iranian refinery on Lavan Island. This disruption of oil flow could exacerbate supply difficulties in the global market, especially since the Strait of Hormuz, a crucial point for oil transport, is not fully open after the ceasefire agreed between Iran and the USA. The Saudi Ministry of Defense reported the interception and destruction of nine drones in recent hours, without providing details about the locations or targets hit.
