Iran executes a spy sentenced for collaborating with Israel.

A man sentenced in Iran for espionage in favor of Israel was executed on Wednesday, according to Iranian judicial authorities. Kourosh Keyvani was accused of providing the Mossad agents with images and information about sensitive sites in the country.

Arrested during the 12-day conflict between Iran and Israel in June 2025, Keyvani was suspected of meetings with agents of the Israeli intelligence service and receiving training in six European countries and in Tel Aviv. This is the first execution announced by Iran since the beginning of the war triggered by Israel and the United States on February 28.
