Iran accuses "American-Zionist attacks": three dead in Ardabil province, near the border with Azerbaijan.

The Iranian press agency Tasnim reported on Sunday the death of three people following "American-Zionist attacks" in Ardabil province, located in the northwest of Iran, near the border with Azerbaijan.

The attacks took place in the village of Jafarabad, at the border, and in the village of Germi, which is about ten kilometers from Azerbaijani territory, according to an official from the governor's office in Ardabil. These attacks also resulted in three injuries.

Iran has consistently accused Israel, the main arms supplier to Azerbaijan, of using Azerbaijani territory to conduct intelligence operations and alleged attacks.

This situation reflects the increasing tensions in the region and Iran's concerns regarding Israel's influence near its borders.
