The disappearance of two Congolese athletes who took part in the Paralympic Games in Paris is being investigated by the authorities.

Shot put and javelin champion Mireille Nganga, together with blind sprinter Grâce Mouambako and his guide, have not been seen since September 5. The case was referred to the anti-crime squad and the head of the Congolese Paralympic delegation said the three had not been seen since Thursday, September 5, at the Paralympic athletes' village in Saint-Denis.
