The Indian Ministry of Maritime Transport has announced that two Indian-flagged ships, carrying liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), have successfully crossed the Strait of Hormuz and are heading towards ports in western India. Rajesh Kumar Sinha, the special secretary of the ministry, stated that the ships have safely navigated this essential waterway. This comes in a context where Tehran has significantly restricted traffic in the area due to the American-Israeli bombing campaign that began two weeks ago.
