A Boeing 737 MAX 8 from American Airlines, which was operating flights between Medellín, Colombia, and Miami, was withdrawn from service after a perforation, possibly caused by a bullet, was discovered on its fuselage during a routine inspection.
The airline announced that no injuries were reported and that the aircraft had no technical issues during the flight. The perforation was located in the right wing of the plane, which has been sent for repairs in Dallas, and authorities are investigating the incident.
