<p>IBM will allocate $150 billion over the next five years to expand manufacturing in the United States, including for quantum computers. This is part of a broader trend among tech companies such as Nvidia and Apple, which are also promising significant investments. Analysts suggest these commitments are strategic, designed to shield companies from trade uncertainties and tariffs. More than $30 billion of the investment will go to expand production of CPUs and quantum technologies.
