The Huajiang Grand Canyon Bridge, under construction in Guizhou, China, will reach a height of more than 625 meters, surpassing the previous record by 289 meters. It will make it easier to cross the Huajiang Grand Canyon, cutting travel time from two hours to one minute. Construction, started in January 2022, is 95% complete and is expected to open in the second half of 2025. The bridge will weigh about 22,000 tons, equivalent to three Eiffel Towers.
