Houthi rebels launched drones and missiles on Tuesday at several targets in southwestern Saudi Arabia, including facilities belonging to the oil company Aramco, according to Ansarollah, cited by AGERPRES. The targets reportedly included Abha International Airport, King Khalid Air Base, and oil platforms in the Abha and Jizan regions.

The attacks took place amid escalating clashes in Yemen. According to the Saba agency, Saudi forces bombed the provinces of Jawf, al-Bayda, Marib, and Taez. A raid on a prison in al-Hazm, in Jawf province, reportedly left 11 people dead, including a child.

Fighting between the Houthis and pro-government forces has concentrated in southwestern Yemen, near the Bab el-Mandeb Strait, a strategic route linking the Red Sea to the Suez Canal. More than 300 people have reportedly died in recent days, and numerous families have been displaced.
