House prices have risen in all European countries over the past 13 years, while falling in Cyprus, Italy and Greece.

According to Eurostat, house prices rose by 48%. Significant increases were recorded in Estonia, Hungary, Lithuania, Latvia, Austria, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Latvia, Austria and Luxembourg. In Romania, real estate prices rose by 25% over the same period. At the same time, rents rose in all EU countries except Greece.
