Automaker Honda Motor Co has announced the recall of more than 1.7 million vehicles globally due to problems with its steering system. The malfunction led to at least 13 road accidents, resulting in 16 injuries. The company has received more than 10,000 complaints related to the problem, which could be due to a defect in the steering box pinion. The carmaker said most of the cars involved in the accidents had low mileage.
