The terrorist group Hamas reacted vehemently to the UN Security Council's vote, which approved the peace plan for Gaza proposed by American President Donald Trump. In a statement, Hamas declared that the adopted resolution does not meet the demands and political and human rights of the Palestinian people.

The Islamist movement emphasized that the resolution imposes an international guardianship mechanism over the Gaza Strip, which they reject, and that it includes measures that serve Israel's objectives. Hamas also criticized the establishment of an international force with the mission of disarming Palestinian groups in Gaza.
