A Hamas official, Osama Hamdan, confirmed that the release of the 48 Israeli hostages from Gaza will begin on Monday morning, according to the signed agreement. After this stage, Israel will release approximately 2,000 Palestinian detainees, as part of a ceasefire agreement mediated by the USA, thus establishing the terms of the prisoner exchange between the two parties.
