Two people were killed and six wounded in a shooting attack during a party in downtown Los Angeles as authorities investigate the incident.

A gun attack at a party in downtown Los Angeles left two people dead, a man and a woman, the latter of whom died in hospital. The incident took place on Sunday night during a music festival when law enforcement intervened. Around 50 people were present at the party, promoted on social media as an after-party. An investigation is ongoing to identify the suspect.
