Environmental activist Greta Thunberg stated that she and other members of the Global Sumud Fleet were tortured in Israeli prisons after being arrested while trying to deliver humanitarian aid to Gaza.

Thunberg refused to provide details about her experiences, emphasizing that their suffering is minor compared to that of the residents of Gaza. The Israeli Foreign Ministry denied the allegations, stating that the rights of the residents have been respected.
