The peace plan for Ukraine, negotiated between the USA and Russia, is considered unacceptable by Germany, said German Minister Thorsten Frei. He emphasized that the plan gives the impression that Russia could achieve its war objectives that it cannot realize on the battlefield. Information about this plan, which would include the cession of territories by Ukraine, is described as "disturbing" and lacking credibility, given the current situation on the front.

The plan, which would foresee the cession of the Donbas region to Russia, was developed without consulting Ukraine's European supporters. EU foreign ministers avoided detailed comments but emphasized that they will not accept requests for painful concessions from Ukraine. In this context, European officials reaffirmed that peace cannot be a capitulation. Additionally, an American delegation is in Kiev to discuss the military situation in Ukraine, which is becoming complicated due to internal scandals.
