German Chancellor Olaf Scholz pledged strong support for Moldova's European integration, recognizing the country's reform efforts.

Scholz emphasized that EU enlargement is in the strategic interest of both Germany and Moldova. It was also announced that the two countries will sign an agreement on migration, given the significant presence of the Moldovan diaspora in Germany. Maia Sandu mentioned that German support strengthens not only the Republic of Moldova, but also Ukraine and regional security.
