German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius discussed the Typhoon system, which can launch guided missiles over long distances, in a meeting with his US counterpart Pete Hegseth. Although the procurement is not finalized, Germany has expressed interest in obtaining these systems to improve defense capabilities in Europe. In addition, Germany is preparing to deliver two Patriot systems to Ukraine, which are essential in the current conflict. Pistorius emphasized that these systems will be used strictly for deterrence.
