German Chancellor Friedrich Merz has criticized Ukraine's proposed territorial concessions to Russia, saying that ceding Donbas would be tantamount to the US giving up the state of Florida. His statements came after the White House meeting between Donald Trump and Volodimir Zelensky, where a possible meeting between Zelensky and Putin was discussed. Merz emphasized that it is essential that the whole of Europe participates in security guarantees for Ukraine, highlighting the decisive days for the future of the country and Europe.
