A study conducted by PrivateUpgrades has ranked Geneva as the most elegant city in Europe, achieving an impressive score of 98.3 points out of 100. The ranking was based on the number of five-star hotels, restaurants included in the Michelin guide, and golf courses relative to the local population. Geneva stands out with 7.36 golf courses per capita, 57 Michelin restaurants, and 18 five-star hotels for every 100 square kilometers. Nicknamed 'the private banking capital of Switzerland', the city hosts prestigious international organizations, enhancing its global reputation. Although associated with luxury, Geneva also offers affordable options for tourists, making it an ideal starting point for nature excursions. The Old Town, with its picturesque streets, is perfect for strolls, and the city's accessibility is improved by the free public transport provided by many hotels.
