After almost two years of conflict, Gaza is facing a severe shortage of drinking water and food. Residents, weakened by hunger, walk kilometers through ruins to fetch water, often insufficient for basic needs. Water sources are polluted and broken infrastructure makes the situation worse, causing the spread of disease. Israel has cut water and electricity supplies and partial supplies are no longer working. Pump generators are out of fuel, leaving communities suffering.
