The Federal Security Service of Russia has opened a criminal case against Mikhail Khodorkovsky, accusing him of forming a terrorist organization and conspiracy to seize power through violence. Khodorkovsky, a former oil magnate and Kremlin critic, previously served 10 years in prison for charges deemed political. The accusations are related to the activities of his group, the Anti-War Committee, banned in Russia, which opposes the war in Ukraine. Since 2022, he has become a prominent figure among Russian exiles supporting Ukraine.
