The FSB has announced that it foiled an attempt by Ukraine's military intelligence service to assassinate Tikhon Shevkunov, a high-ranking priest of the Russian Orthodox Church. The two suspects, a Russian and a Ukrainian, were detained in connection with the plot, which involved an improvised explosive device.
