France will replace Palantir's tools with those of the French company ChapsVision

The French internal security agency DGSI has announced that it will replace American Palantir technology tools with solutions provided by the French company ChapsVision.

Prime Minister Sebastien Lecornu stated that this decision comes in the context of a growing desire to reduce dependence on American technologies, emphasizing that France needs to develop its own artificial intelligence tools. Although the contract with Palantir, renewed until the end of 2025, remains in effect, Lecornu assured that Palantir tools will continue to be used until the complete integration of ChapsVision, to avoid a capability gap.

This move reflects a broader trend in Europe, where allies are seeking to ensure technological independence, especially in light of the political unpredictability in the US. Germany and the UK have also taken similar measures regarding the use of Palantir.
