On Tuesday, France will experience the peak of a heat wave, with code red alerts in 16 departments, including Paris. Extreme temperatures of up to 41 degrees Celsius are expected and traffic restrictions have been imposed. In Portugal, the code red has been downgraded but temperatures in the 40s remain. In Spain, heat records continue with highs of 46 degrees. This phenomenon, the 50th heatwave since 1947, is exacerbated by climate change.
