The International Air Carriers Association estimates that airlines will have a combined net profit of 36.6 billion dollars in 2025.

The profit forecast for 2025 is 16.1% above the $31.5 billion net income forecast for 2024. Estimates show industry-wide net profit margin will be 3.6%, up from 3.3% in 2024. Airlines face supply chain challenges, but expect their efforts to counter these challenges.
