Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky met on Monday at the European Political Community summit in Yerevan, where they agreed to organize a joint meeting of the governments of Kyiv and Bratislava at the end of June. Fico emphasized the importance of maintaining good relations between the two countries and promised concrete results, including the creation of transport links. Zelensky confirmed Slovakia's support for Ukraine's accession to the European Union. Before the meeting, the two leaders had a phone conversation, and Fico shared a photo with his counterparts from Poland and the Czech Republic, suggesting a revival of the Visegrad Group. Relations between Ukraine and Hungary, in particular, have been tense recently, but the situation could change after Viktor Orban's election loss.
