Italian candy maker Ferrero Group has opened a chocolate factory in Bloomington, Illinois, the first processing facility in North America. The new facility will produce chocolate for the Butterfinger, Crunch and Kinder brands. Chocolate has become more expensive to produce, and Ferrero aims to find solutions to keep its products available and affordable on the market.
