European stock markets opened with significant losses on Monday morning, recording declines of 2.29% in Paris, 2.50% in Frankfurt, and 1.26% in London, in the context where the price of oil has exceeded 100 dollars.

Futures contracts for the main European indices indicated even larger declines before the official opening, with Paris losing 2.71% and Frankfurt 2.60%. Analyst John Plassard, responsible for investment strategy at Cité Gestion Private Bank, emphasized that these declines are the result of falls on Wall Street and the accelerated rise in oil prices, fueled by tensions in the Gulf.

Additionally, Asian stock markets recorded significant declines, with Tokyo's Nikkei dropping by 5.19% and Seoul's Kospi by 5.96%.
