Saipem plans to merge with Subsea 7, while Prosus NV will take over Just Eat Takeaway.com NV. National Grid Plc will also take over the renewable energy business of Brookfield Asset Management Ltd. Italian drilling specialist Saipem SpA is in the lead after announcing over the weekend that it plans to merge with Subsea 7 SA in a deal valuing the Norwegian firm at 4.65 billion euros ($4.9 billion).
