The European Commission's proposal includes measures to ban transhipments of liquefied gas to the EU and sanctions on three Russian liquefied gas projects. Imports of Russian liquefied gas into Europe have increased significantly in the context of the conflict in Ukraine and the proposal is expected to be finalized soon.
